Tom Klein is a lifelong software developer who dreams of becoming a writer. He is married to a wonderful woman and has five fantastic children.

At age fifty-five, he started writing a novel, Safekeeping, and completed the first draft in six months. By joining Saturday Writers, he found out his writing needed some improvement. After winning several awards and having short stories published in several anthologies, Tom is back reworking the novel.

The hope is that as his software career winds down, his writing career will take off.

Tom is a private pilot, PADI certified scuba diver, served the local community as an elected official, and spent several years as a Boy Scout Leader. He has designed hardware and software, traveling to Hong Kong and Taiwan to bring innovations to the North American Life Insurance industry.
